Deathbird leads Bishop to the 'Nest' to protect the yet-unborn next generation of Shi'ar. On Earth, Henry Peter Gyrich and Senator Robert Kelly discuss Operation: Zero Tolerance. Back on the Throneworld, Joseph, flashing back to his youth in Nazi-occupied Europe, unilaterally opts to attack the Phalanx.
